At the Finance Club's weekly BBL, you get the opportunity to directly approach representatives from the business world and get connected. Bring in your questions and an open mind to our BBL to make it more exciting and interactive.

The kickoff to every BBL includes a presentation where the company briefly introduces itself and describes in which business areas they are active. This is followed by a talk related to a current topic which they are confronted with on a daily basis and challenges them in their everyday life.

They also provide insights into career opportunities such as internships, career starter programs or direct entries. There is an informal stand-up lunch after the presentation where you have the opportunity to interact with other students or have a casual chat with the firm’s representatives.

Case Studies

Event

The Finance Club organizes Case Studies. These events occur a few times during the semester, and detailed information regarding time, place, and the application process can be found on our website, LinkedIn and Instagram. Be sure to follow us there so you’re always up to date.

Contents

Each Case Study contains a presentation by the company’s representatives, introducing the company, themselves and most importantly, the case study. A case study is a set of problems that the audience gets to solve together with the company. Usually, the case study is closely related to current challenges. After that, some drinks will be offered, and that time can be used to chat with the spokespeople in addition to networking with other like-minded students.
These problem-solving examples provide insight into how companies structure their process when approaching an obstacle. During the event, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about the newest trends in finance.
